I've taught Head Start for 10 years at Morgan State Head Start before it closed down. I ventured out to the medical field in Nursing and have been working in that field for about 12 plus years. After having my own children, my passion for teaching became my ultimate goal. During the early pandemic months, I created The Learning Tree Academy Learning Binders, which was truly successful and a big hit. My goal from that point forward, was to open my own preschool and provide a fun educational and developmental environment for students 2- 5 years of age. I worked countless of hours getting all my training and credentials to operate a premier preschool and becoming co-chair of Maryland's own, Maryland Family Network, Good Health & Healthy Beginnings program.
I absolutely love everything about preschool education! My favorite part is seeing my students progress with each lesson taught. It's so magical! I truly feel that teaching is my calling in life, and I can't wait to teach your little one. I hope to meet you!
From preschool to summer camp, we have something everyone in your family can enjoy!
Our preschool classes help your child to make friends, get socialized, and be more than ready for Kindergarten. We focus on a "whole child" philosophy and help develop your child's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills through PLAY.
(Little do they know they are actually learning really important Kindergarten readiness skills WHILE they play - shhh! don't tell them!) We can’t wait for your child to join our preschool class!

Our summer camps keep the fun going all year long! They give your children the ability to keep a schedule during the summer, avoid being bored, have something to look forward to, continue their learning, and have a blast with extra science experiments and water games!
Plus, you’ll enjoy some time to yourself each day kid free! We can’t wait for your child to join our summer camp!

At The learning Tree Academy, we offer several different opportunities and learning abilities for each child to experiences throughout the day with learning and playing. Our schedule is curated with fun in mind.
We create weekly and monthly schedules to coherent with our educational lesson plans, to provide a predictable and consistent safe place. We also provide adequate information for families to participate and continue the fun at home.
Our program starts at 7:00a with arrival and greeting.
Scholars will receive 2 meals and 3 snacks, assessment, small group activities, circle time, free play, recess and quiet time.
Our programs provide early interventions for children in need of a quality premium preschool. We will work with your health team to ensure your child IEP and specialty care needs are implemented with our daily learning schedules.
We also provide high quality learning academy for children ages 2-5 creating a strategic learning environment and listening to the concerns, needs and wants for our scholars.
Every day is an adventure! From our engaging and bright classrooms to our exciting hands-on activities, your child will develop a love for life-long learning!
At The Learning Tree Academy, we follow a “whole child” philosophy where we partner with you to improve your child’s Social, Emotional, Cognitive, Language, and Physical skills. Your child will learn to socialize, make friends, develop social and emotional skills, and be more than ready for kindergarten! In fact, kindergarten teachers LOVE our students so much because they're such great learners!
We also incorporate Creative Curriculum and Handwriting Without Tears Curriculum.
We aim to help children become independent, self-confident, inquisitive and enthusiastic learners by actively exploring their environment.
In fact, one of the best ways we can teach is to ask THEM questions. "What are you creating?" "How does it work?" "Tell me about what you drew." etc.
We keep you in the loop on what we're working on, and we also let you know exactly how your child is doing during our two parent teacher conferences each year.
Children learn SO MUCH MORE when they have the chance to explore and play without rules of what art "should" look like at the end.
We change out our centers and materials to reflect the new theme. Our classroom is always changing, and you never know what exciting things we'll add next week!

When you're at The Learning Tree Academy, you're family! We're conveniently located in the Baltimore subdivision. You'll love our warm, bright in-home preschool, and your child will love our 1-on-1 attention with our small class sizes of just 12 students!
We are strictly a preschool (not a daycare) for children ages 6 wks-5. We offer MORE THAN just preschool... Not only do we help your child socialize and get ready for kindergarten, we also offer free field trips & events for scholars. Families are always encouraged to go so we can experience the magic of preschool... TOGETHER.

Due to high demand, our classes fill up ridiculously fast. Please call as soon as you even think about enrolling so we can see if we have a spot for you.
If we do have a spot, we'll schedule a tour. We'll also reserve your child's spot so you don't lose it before we meet.
During the tour, we'll tell you all about us. At the end, we'll ask: "Would you like your child to come to The Learning Tree Academy?" If so, that's when we'll have you fill out the registration form and we'll collect the registration fee: $75 for preschool or $25 for summer camp.
